Adult Lessons Diamond Bar

Premier Swim Academy has three adult swim levels; Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

Beginner Classes

We prioritize comfort and safety in the water, focusing on submerging under water and the ability to take a breath whenever needed.  This learning curve for new swimmers can be very different for adults compared to children due to our body compositions, but Premier instructors are trained to be ready to support anyone who chooses to join us in the water

Intermediate Classes

These classes are for swimmers who have completed their water safety competencies. Once we can be confident that a swimmer is able to breathe when they need and move forward with their kicks, we can start setting the foundations of Freestyle and Backstroke. The breathing patterns and use of arms that are learned in the Intermediate classes will set swimmers up for utilizing their skills for recreational or functional use. This class is perfect for anyone who is considering lap-swimming as a form of fitness, or who wants to develop their confidence in open-water.

Advanced Classes

This class focuses on Butterfly and Breast stroke. These competitive strokes are very unique in their timing and physical exertion. Premier instructors are ready to assist anyone interested in learning these by having a keen eye and making sure that a strong base is already set. Anyone looking to participate in our Advanced class must already be able to competently swim Freestyle and Backstroke for at least 25 yards.
